Northern and Southern Boone County Property Tax Payment Collection Sites
As a convenience to Boone County taxpayers, the Boone County Collector of Revenue’s office will set up satellite offices in Centralia and Ashland to accept property tax payments. Staff will be at the Ashland City Hall on Monday, December 11 and Tuesday, December 12; and, at the Centralia City Hall on Thursday, December 14 and Friday, December 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Taxpayers are reminded to contact the collector's office if they have not received their tax statements. Failure to receive a bill does not relieve the obligation to pay the taxes due, and any applicable late charges that may apply. The last day to pay in person at the collector’s office in the Roger B. Wilson Boone County Government Center is Friday, December 29.
All property tax payments are due by December 31 to avoid statutorily imposed late penalties and fees.
